The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation credits its success to the many outstanding individuals who share their energy, ideas, talents, and enthusiasm. In order for this year's Gala to be a success, we need your help!

2. Volunteeer shift times will be scheduled for a maximum of 4 hours (to be specified by JDRF) between 4 PM and 12 midnight.
3. For children selling balloons: a chaperone must accompany every two children. The chaperone must register as a volunteer as well.
4. Balloon sellers must be between the ages of 7-13. Volunteers ages 14-20 will be assigned to other volunteer tasks.
In order to successfully register, please note the following:

On behalf of JDRF and the 2008 Chance of a Lifetime Gala Committee Members, we want to thank you for your interest in volunteering at our event.
Due to overwhelming response, effective October 24th, we will not be accepting any additional volunteers for this years Gala. However, we encourage you to attend as a guest so that you can still be a part of helping us achieve our goal of raising more than $3 million for diabetes research.
Please continue to visit our website at www.jdrfillinois.org to learn more information about future volunteering opportunities as well as information on diabetes research, the Illinois Chapters calendar of events, and information on becoming an Illinois advocate.
Again, thank you for your volunteer interest. We appreciate your support of JDRF and our cause.
